PROGRAM
Masuk Robotics is one of the largest robotics programs in the Southern New England area, with 9 high school and 7 middle school teams. Currently, we have over 100 members and continue to grow as more and more students discover jghtrjjr
an interest in STEM through other programs offered at Masuk High School, such as various programming and engineering classes. From scouting to programming, building to designing, Masuk Robotics offers a place for students from all walks of life to celebrate their curiosity and to develop, or further, their interest in STEM.
OUR
HISTORY
Started in 2011 by William McDonough,,Masuk Robotics quickly became a distinguished program within Connecticut by participating in multiple local events and almost qualifying a team for the VRC Round Up World Championships. Since this first year
year with only 22 members, Masuk Robotics has expanded rapidly, hosting its first home event in 2013 and sending multiple teams throughout the seasons to both the Southern New England Championships and the World Championships. From winning Excellence to the Sportsmanship award, Masuk Robotics consistently showcases that VEX robotics is more than just a competition.
